Megan Halloway, APRN, FNP-C

Megan Halloway handles a large share of the clinic’s same day appointments and carries her own panel of patients for ongoing primary care.

She sees acute illness, manages chronic conditions, and does the preventive work that keeps people out of the hospital: wellness visits, immunizations, screening, and the follow-up calls that make sure a plan actually got followed.

She speaks Spanish and sees many of the clinic’s Spanish speaking families, which matters in a county where a good share of agricultural work happens in Spanish and interpretation used to mean a phone line.

She worked as an emergency department nurse at this hospital for eight years before returning as a nurse practitioner in 2019.
