Dr. Boyd worked as a labor and delivery nurse for six years before going to medical school, which shapes how she practices. She leads prenatal care and women’s health at the community clinic.
She manages pregnancies locally through the full course of prenatal care, coordinating with the obstetric team at our regional partner hospital where delivery takes place. For a patient in Ruraltown that is the difference between four long drives and fourteen.
She also carries a full family medicine panel and sees patients of every age.
